Chanel-ing Queen Amidala

School and finals kind of makes me want to die, but Chanel's Pre-Fall 2009 collection makes me happy to be alive. In my wildest fantasies, if we ever discover life on another planet, they will dress like this.

Excuse me while I go watch Anastasia and Star Wars all at the same time.

Click here to see more, I beg you.

Invasion of the Clowns!

My clown-inspired fashion love started courtesy of the adorable gauze harlequin mini dress (by Miu Miu) which graced the cover of Nylon with Leighton Meester a few months back. Ever since then, my heart skips a couple beats whenever the sight of harlequin prints grace my eyes.

Miu Miu patchwork pump & shoe boot

Eley Kishimoto Fall 08

Sass & Bide sequin dress

Topshop skirt and vest

Topshop laptop case / Dolce & Gabbana snakeskin clutch

And last but not least, in the spirit of Halloween, a Rocky Horror Picture Show inspired Polyvore featuring my favorite tap dancer aside from Gene Kelly, Columbia! Surprisingly, the harlequin prints go very well with her.

Danish design duo, Best Behavior, seems to have tapped into my brain and realized the essence of my dream wardrobe.

Other ingenius things to come out of Denmark: Mew, danishes, Aqua, the Little Mermaid, the Raveonettes, Solvang, Under Byen (highly recommended for fans of awkward ear candy).

Everything's Just Wonderful

Upon being informed of the music celebrity themed Halloween party I'm apparently attending this year, I have decided to maybe go as Lily Allen. Pre-pink hair Lily Allen, though. Definitely.

I am really in love with that Topshop dress. I can't stop looking at it. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get my bangs to poof up like Lil' Lily's and I'll be set! Watch out karaoke machine, for I will belt out LDN and Everything's Just Wonderful with all the energy my little lungs can muster!

As Halloween approaches and I grow more and more indecisive, I will most likely be posting more Polyvores. Some others I'm working on are Alice Cullen, Lolita, Penny Lane, and Nancy Drew. Oh yeah, I have way too much fun making these!

Leanimal!

I'm very thrilled that Leanne has won Project Runway! Her collection was innovative and elegant, but with the perfect amount of femininity. I absolutely adored the simple color palette and the layered petals --- all of her pieces looked like little cakes! Here's to a delectable career for the lovely Leanne Marshall.

If you're a fellow fan, take a gander at her official site and her Etsy shop!

Lollipop, you must mistake me for a sucker

Loeffler Randall's new lookbook for fall is so dreamy and lovely! I cannot stop looking at it! The delicate, shimmery ballet flats paired with any transparent blouse are on my Must-Have's list for fall. My heart, it beats for such beauty!

I burn, I pine, I perish!

It's Halloween time again and, as usual, I start seeing ideas for costuming everywhere. Now, I dearly enjoyed the Sonia Rykiel collection. One dress in particular made the Halloween-loving fangirl in me scream out with Katrina Van Tassel-inspired looks.

(Sonia Rykiel dress, white tights, Viktor & Rolfe corset shoes, red topshop shawl/scarf, MAC lipstick, necklace from ebay, Katrina Van Tassel scented oil from BPAL.)

A few of my favorite pieces from Rykiel:

Gorgeous.

Sticks and stones and weed and bombs

Eley Kishimoto's cute-as-can-be Spring '09 collection totally makes me think of quirky, whimsy Cassie from Skins. I wish the first season could have lasted forever.

I want everything! Look at those tights! And those adorable dresses! And the shoes! Ughh!
